When Amie Williams picked up her dog Lola she never dreamed she would be an internet sensation racking up millions of TikTok likes.
The Hull duo's account pawsofshire only began last year but it's quickly become the city's most popular after going viral.
It was Amie's love of photography and capturing scenes around Yorkshire and the Humber that inspired her to put Lola in front of the camera.
The page caught the attention of dog lovers and quickly reached 500,000 followers with another 30,000 on Instagram, writes Hull Live.
One of her most popular videos, liked more than 100,000 times, shows the pooch’s seriously unimpressed reaction to being fed a small amount of food. The clip can be seen at the top of this page.
Lola is even paying her way as she spends most days being photographed and paid to advertise treats, toys and more.
Amie only moved to the city last year and found Lola because she needed company but got much more than she bargained for.
She said: "I've always grown up around dogs and German Shepherds were a breed I always aspired to have. I was always blown away by their intelligence, loyalty, appearance and personalities.
"I love being able to scroll back easily and see how she's changed and grown. Some of my favourite social media pages are animal pages, they just make you smile whatever you're feeling.

"Some people find Instagram pages for pets a ridiculous idea, but I actually find the pet Instagram pages are really encouraging and lovely to speak to."
Lola, who is approaching two years old, enjoys walking in the countryside, chasing her ball, and playing with her dog pal Charlie. She likes to 'sit pretty' and has learnt a new trick to cover her eyes and be bashful.
Amie said it was "easy" to pick up views for a "cute dog account" because not many TikTok users had created pet accounts by the point she did.
She said: "Original comedy videos using popular sounds, or informative videos are two things I think we have done well on TikTok which has helped us get bigger.
"I really enjoyed seeing people from Hull commenting, surprised that their city had been given recognition on TikTok. I am glad I am able to share how beautiful this area really is with my followers."
